SMILAX PSYLLIUM IMPEX LLP is a Partnership firm that started its manufacturing operations in the year 2020. The company is a member of the rapidly growing Smilax Group of Companies, India. The Group has diversified interests in Pharmaceuticals, Packaging & Agro-based Products. Currently the Group is associated with Pharmaceutical Multinationals viz. Procter & Gamble, Sun Pharma, Lupin, Cipla, Piramal Healthcare, Wockhardt, Unichem, Micro Labs, Cadila, Intas, Bio Chem, Wallace, Anglo French, Elder, B E Biologicals, Mankind, May & Baker, manufacturing their brands under Principal to Principal & Loan License agreements.
The Pharmaceutical arm of the Group is also actively involved in Government Institutional business and is currently serving the States of Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat, Odisha, Bihar, Delhi, Assam, Punjab, West Bengal, Karnataka under the various Government free-of-cost medicine Schemes.
Lastly, the Group also has its presence in the domestic pharmaceutical market in generic drug category. The Group has a wide experience in formulations based on Psyllium Husk and has been manufacturing such formulations for more than 17 years. With a mission to carry out Backward Vertical Integration and to diversify, the Group had firstly floated Smilax Psyllium Impex Company in 2013 for the manufacturing of premium quality “Psyllium Husk and Psyllium Husk Powder”, an Agro-based Ingredient.
To further increase its manufacturing capacities, Smilax launched a second Psyllium company, namely “SMILAX PSYLLIUM IMPEX LLP”. The company has a modern plant for processing of Psyllium Husk, which is located at Chaksu on the Jaipur-Kota Highway in Rajasthan (India). The annual capacity of Smilax Psyllium Impex to manufacture Psyllium Husk is 3600 MT per annum. The state of Rajasthan is the largest cultivator of Psyllium crop in the World, and as a result, Smilax gains added advantage of reliable and continuous supply of good quality Psyllium seeds, the main raw material in the manufacturing of Psyllium Husk.

Mr. Goyal is a Pharmacy graduate from Panjab University and did his Masters from University of Exeter (UK) in International Business (Marketing).
To his credit he has a working experience with M/s Mylan India in their Anti-Retro Viral Sales & Marketing team. He is a leader of vision. His vision to study the nature and ultimately meaning of human life has become reality by venturing into processing of Psyllium Seeds, an agricultural produce.
